Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy for San Miguel’s Writer’s Conference, 2012.

The San Miguel International Writers’ Conference dates are Thursday, February 16 to Sunday, February 19. The following Cancellation policy also applies to the Intensive Writing Workshops, February 20th & 21st.

If you need to cancel your participation in the conference, your notification and request for refund must be submitted at CONTACT US.

  • You many cancel at any time up to six weeks before the conference (prior to January 5) and receive a full refund, less a nontransferable $50 cancellation fee.
  • After January 19, four weeks before the conference date, you may receive a 50% refund, minus the $50 cancellation fee.
  • There will be no refunds within two weeks of the Conference and / or the Intensive Workshops.

Refunds will be credited to your credit card account or mailed to you within six weeks after they are received.

The San Miguel International Writers’ Conference reserves the right to change or cancel any speaker and/or session without penalty or notice.

There will be a $50 handling fee for returned checks.

You won’t want to miss a minute of the Writers’ Conference – but if you must – no refund of fees will be made for attendees who leave the conference early or do not attend portions of the conference or events.
